for the past year or so, i've been turning in just one or two hours of service time.
it has been mentioned to me from an elder "friend" that i'm never seen at any meetings for field service.
i get his implication.
Amazingly enough, I've never been spoken to since I stopped turning in time. It's been well over a year, maybe even two.
I do recall during a shepherding call, the elders said they "missed" seeing me out in service. I was honest and said it was hard to go out and talk about something I wasn't confident in anymore.
Since then it has never been brought up again, even in other subsequent visits.

he noticed his wife and daughter spending a lot of time morning noon and night on facebook, it almost seemed like that is all they did, so as a spiritual head decided to see what they were constantly looking at, "let me see what you are spending so much time looking at on facebook said the elder".
the wife explained this is how we keep in contact with the "friends", elder started to look at her page and she was correct, there he found friends in the cong.
LOL watson! I do the same thing. Stay clear of any thing that involves crazy JW talk!
I have heard things said in the past from a CO at an assembly about Facebook. And so I resisted at first in getting an account. As I woke up to TTATT I decided to activate an account. I was scared as hell! But I got over it quickly.
Now I preemptively block certain JWs or eventually remove others from my list of friends.

my husband and i left the religion 3 years ago.
all my family were active jws when we left, but that is all changing now.
Feel free to look at some of my intro posts. I was a Bethelite, a regular pioneer, and a MS.
In short though - politics woke me up. There is no Holy Spirit in decisions made.
Elders pray for a blessing for a decision that is not made from or based on the scriptures, and quite regularly too.
